The Faults of Astrology
The first and foremost fault of Astrology is a fault of most organised religions: they put faith in something they cannot prove. If something cannot be proven, (that is, cannot be interpreted by any human sense), then from the point of definitive psychological sanity, it isn't there. The numerous individual faults are listed here.

The Function of the Planets

There is no independent evidence to suggest that balls of gas and rock can influence the lives of people millions of miles away. We have, however, calculated that each and every planet will, at some point, be destroyed as it reaches the end of its life span. This is evidence enough, I think, that they are mortal, and therefore cannot possibly be gods by the theological definition.

The Accumulation of Ideas

Any theological belief that is genuinely convincing to its followers will maintain a consistent purity of its ideas and keep them separate from other religions because they believe whole-heartedly that they have the superior solution. Astrology has stolen ideas from practically every star-gazing eastern religion on the planet as well as adopted psychological terms in order to articulate its rhetoric. This can only mean that the believers themselves lack the faith to stick with what they originally proposed.

The Arrogance of the Believers

Astrologists are quite convinced of their own superhuman qualities. Marcia Montenegro, (a former licensed professional astrologer for 8 years, former President of the Metro Atlanta Astrological Society, former Chairperson of the Atlanta Board of Astrology Examiners, and astrology teacher for over 5 years) said that the occassional and coincidental successes Astrologers experienced they put down to their psychic potential, spiritual maturity and a smug confidence in the reliability of the astrological cult.
She says:

"The astrologer attributes any success to psychic ability, the help of spirit guides, previous lives as an astrologer, and/or the excellence of the astrological method."

More to be added as it is learned.
